ABOUT TAMUCR

Texas A&M College Republicans is not just a political action club but a leadership and professional development organization for Conservatives. Founded in 1963, TAMUCR brings together Aggies interested in politics, public service, and leadership. Beyond our regular meetings, members can take part in socials, campaign volunteering, networking events, debates and policy discussions. We are also expanding opportunities for members through a book club, community service, writing workshop for our media section, alumni mentorship and professional-development with guest speakers working in law, finance, tech, government, journalism, etc. We help secure internships for our members, plan trips to the Texas Capitol to observe sessions, and participate locally with the Brazos County GOP and Bryan-College Station Young Republicans.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in national sovereignty, secure borders, and the rule of law. We favor rebuilding America’s industrial base, strengthening domestic manufacturing, and reducing strategic dependence on foreign nations. We place importance on strong families, healthy communities, and the institutions of religious and civil society, and we support public safety through robust law enforcement and effective prosecution of crime. We are also dedicated to the future. The Constitution empowers Congress to promote the advancement of the arts and the sciences, and we believe in using those towards establishing a new American frontier, including space exploration, nuclear energy, and desalination. All the while, we are committed to carrying the torch of our Founding Fathers and protecting our rights to life, liberty, and property.
